Project Overview
The 44 MWp Culcairn Solar Farm spans across 1000 hectares of land and will be Neoen's largest solar asset in Australia once it goes into operations.
Neoen secured development approval for Culcairn Solar Farm from the NSW Government in 2021, with an option to build a 100MW / 200MWh battery in the future.
It will connect into the on-site 330kV transmission line managed by Transgrid.
Bouygues Construction Australia signals the commencement of Phase of the project which will take between 18-24 months to complete. At peak their will be 400 Staff Onsite including subcontractors, labour hire and management.
