The Hofmann Group of Companies was established in 1969 as a family business by two brothers John and Erich Hofmann and has become one of Australia's foremost manufacturers of specialist engineered equipment.
Hofmann Engineering is one of the biggest gear making operations in the Southern Hemisphere. It operates from five cities and employs over 500 Australian workers.
Hoffman is building better components for the local wind power industry with the support of a grant from the Federal Government. The Hofwind project will produce an additional 900 megawatts of green power, enough to supply more than 200,000 homes.
Key capabilities encompass design, manufacture, repair, and refurbishment of mining and industrial equipment, gearing for heavy and light industries, precision engineering products, valves, special purpose tooling, specialist production-line and processing equipment & tooling, and onsite support, installation and RCA failure analysis and correction.
