Overview
SOFRACO Engineering Systems was formed in 1988 and is a wholly Australian owned engineering company providing professional engineering consultancy, hands on engineering and through life support services to the defence, marine and infrastructure sectors.
We offer services from pre-acquisition, through design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning, to the maintenance and through-life-support of capital equipment and systems.
All departments have qualified and experienced personnel covering many engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical & Marine Engineers, Naval Architects & DCV Surveyors. SOFRACO's production and maintenance staff include hydraulic and pneumatic technicians, diesel fitters, mechanical fitters' electricians, welders & riggers.
Our work can be found in many places - Naval Vessels, Tactical and Police Vessels, Antarctic Survey Vessels, Offshore Oil and Gas Platforms, High Volume Production Facilities, Heritage listed Bridges and Dams.
