CUCINA CLASSICA

Overview

Cucina Classica was founded by a chef from Italy, a coffee roaster, an artisan pastry chef, and a restauranteur who launched a restaurant in Adelaide in 1996, later expanding into a cafe franchise across South Australia. The franchise was acquired by an international private equity firm with plans for national expansion, allowing the founders to develop a range of ready-made Italian meals for supermarket distribution. In December 2021, Roberto Cardone, one of the original partners, took over the business and continues to offer Italian ready meals based on traditional recipes using Australian ingredients.
