Overview

Government and Corporate Advisory Network (GCAN) is led by Maree Davenport, a former Member of Parliament (Vic), Chair of Statutory Authorities, and a previous Member of the Building Appeals Board at the Victorian Building Authority.

Maree is an AMDRAS accredited Mediator (ASBFEO panel), a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW), AICD (Company Directors' course), Governance Institute of Australia (GIA Certificate of Risk and Governance) and holds a Master of Leadership (Deakin).

GCAN specialises in MEDIATION across corporate and family enterprises, industry sectors, peak bodies, not‑for‑profits, for‑purpose organisations, and community groups.

We guide clients on public affairs advocacy and influence with strategic advisory services, underpinned by deep policy and regulatory expertise across the three tiers of government.

We foster community partnerships for social procurement compliance and advise on Regulatory Impact Statements (RIS) review and response.
