done Our proprietary water treatment and resource recovery technology allows us to implement highly effective water treatment plants, cleaning municipal and industrial water to re-use levels, while producing biomass containing the removed nitrogen, carbon, phosphorus and other elements, dependent on the influent water make-up. Due to the nature of our proprietary process, we can operate off-grid as we require very little in the way of operational power. Due to the fact that we make use of endemic species of organisms in our processes, we pose no risks or limitations in terms of introducing new species to the environment where the treatment will take place. Our designs are incredibly robust and basic, requiring no trained engineers to operate, just normal cleaning and maintenance operatives. The combination of low-power, robustness and ease of operation makes our proprietary design ideal for remote locations where access to skilled labour, power and existing infrastructure may be a challenge. Due to the footprint and the make-up of our designs, the loading factor is much smaller than for a typical water treatment facility, allowing us to be placed on roof-tops, making the solution ideal for facilitating in-fill development and providing large facilities with a carbon-negative water treatment solution. As the solution is reliant on phototrophic organisms, proposed plant locations must be free from shade and as this is a biological system, water temperature should be over 18c for effective operation.
done While we do not build our plants (for this we rely on engineering firms with civil, plumbing and electrical contracting capabilities) we do license the technology on a per-plant basis and partner with engineering and construction firms who ideally have specialist experience in the vertical industry and location where plants are required.
done Our technology is capable of removing nitrogen, phosphorus, carbon (organic and inorganic), heavy metals, microplastics, microfibres, hormones, medications and complex organics from influent.
done Our technology provides natural disinfection with the production of high levels of free-oxygen radicals, and we have the experience and capability of designing pre & post processes if required to deal with influent make-up and effluent quality, however we only warrant our proprietary process which consists of the Photo Bio Reactor and a post-process that provides de-nitrification. All other processes are industry-standard and while we design them according to the information provided, their operation and efficacy is directly related to the quality of the components purchased and their implementation along with the management of the influent quality and flow.
