Blastcon Australia is a Drill and Blast company based in Townsville, QLD and is dedicated to both the safety and efficiency in the explosives and related industries.
We commenced in 2003 to meet the needs of mining personnel and assist them in understanding the application and implementation of the explosives' legislation and techniques. The last seventeen years has seen Blastcon expand into various other areas including the Civil, Defence and Demolition Industries.
Blastcon Australia is also a dedicated Drill and Blast contractor, having the ability to meet all needs of full drilling and blasting services on site across Open Cut and Underground Operations. We are the Australian & Asia Pacific distributor of Autostem Power cartridges and technical experts.
Major projects include Kidston Pumped Hydro Project - completion of all open cut construction drill & blast works with ongoing underground tunnelling drill & blast works.
