Overview

Durack Civil Pty Ltd is a Queensland-based civil contracting company specialising in earthworks, stabilisation, remediation and flood recovery programs. Since forming our current structure in 2019, we have delivered more than 250 civil construction projects across regional and remote Queensland, supported by a decentralised delivery model that enables rapid mobilisation, efficient resource deployment and reliable multi-front delivery.

Our leadership team brings over 60 years of combined experience in civil construction, stabilisation, regional logistics and community-focused project delivery. Durack Civil has a strong record delivering works for the Department of Transport and Main Roads and Local Government, supported by third-party certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and Federal Safety Accreditation (FSC).

Durack Civil’s performance and innovation have been recognised with two recent CCF Earth Awards –
• 2025 Earth Award: Gympie DRFA Package 02, for regional rehabilitation across 7,500+ flood-damaged sites.
• 2024 Earth Award: Mount Nebo Road Safety Upgrade & Goat Track Landslip Works, for complex slope stabilisation and geotechnical remediation.

We maintain the capability to run 20+ concurrent projects, underpinned by a large and experienced workforce including:

• 22 Project Managers / Project Engineers
• 22 Supervisors
• Extensive frontline crews of multiskilled operators and civil trades
This structure is supported by a modern, company-owned fleet of excavators, graders, stabilisers, rollers, water carts, tippers, concrete equipment and specialist access plant.

Our construction capability includes earthworks, drainage, culverts, headwalls, retaining structures, concrete pavements, hardstands, access upgrades, small structures, erosion and sediment control and coastal-adjacent civil works. We have proven experience delivering projects involving restricted access, environmental sensitivity, nominated suppliers and staged construction sequencing.

We also integrate specialist subcontractors—including concrete, steel fixing, formwork, traffic management and rope-access teams—operating under Durack Civil’s ISO-certified safety, quality and environmental systems.
