At JTE, were a team of skilled engineers and highly skilled trades persons. Our unique range of CNC and manual machines gives us the capacity to provide solutions to a wide range of sectors. In 1934, JTE (known as Jack Thompson Engineering) began at a small site in South Melbourne. Founded by Jack Thompson, he set out to deliver top-quality engineering services across the state. Over the years, JTE grew and evolved as it passed through the generations, expanding and moving its premises to Hastings and evolving the operations and offerings but never losing sight of it rich family roots. With new ownership in 2020 and expanded offerings we have cemented our status in Australian manufacturing. With a large facility in Hastings and a secondary facility in Wodonga, we now provide comprehensive services and solutions to a wide range of industries and government sectors specialising Power and Utilities (Hydro, Oil, Gas, Coal), Heavy Manufacturing, Mining and Defence.
