Overview
Civil Geotechnical Consultants Pty Ltd (CGC) provides geotechnical engineering services for critical transport, energy and civil infrastructure projects across Australia.
CGC has a strong local presence is South East Queensland, and provides geotechnical services from planning and advisory, to investigation, analysis, interpretation, design, construction and operational phases of projects.
CGC is GE3 pre-qualified (TMR) and has deep experience working with complex interfaces on some of QLD's largest infrastructure projects such as Coomera Connector, Cross River Rail and Bruce Highway upgrades. CGC works with clients such as TMR, Fulton Hogan, John Holland, McIlwain, JF Hull Holdings and SEE Civil.
CGC also supports Asset Maintenance and Disaster recovery projects works with 10 Slope Risk Accredited personnel across the business.
In 2019, CGC became the first engineering company in Australia to become a certified social enterprise from Social Traders. In late 2025, CGC broadened our impact to become a certified B Corporation, strengthening our commitment to our people, communities, clients, environmental sustainability and governance.
CGC works collaboratively with communities to help understand the barriers that vulnerable young people face in their respected regions. With this knowledge, we partner with community groups to provide programs and funding for young people based on our evidence-based pillars of building confidence, building knowledge and building career pathways.
CGC's mission is to build robust partnerships, devise innovative solutions for clients and create strong foundations in both engineering and in the lives of vulnerable young people in the community.
