AWCON is an Australian owned and operated company providing services in the civil and mining sectors. We specialise in underground construction, pipe & civil works, mining services and have been involved in projects throughout Australia, PNG, and Mongolia.
AWCON was awarded its first major contract in early 2015 to construct and install pre-cast panels for underground extraction roads.
We employ more than 200 people, with head office and workshop located in Orange New South Wales, and numerous site offices on project sites, which have expanded their capability to now include mining plus plant & equipment hire.
AWCON have been involved in eight of the underground crushers and material handling systems built in Australia over the last ten years.
We have proudly partnered with some of Australia's leading businesses including Newcrest, Oz Minerals, CMOC, Orange City Council, Worley, and Rio Tinto.
