MacTaggart Scott is a privately-owned engineering company. Founded in 1898, the Company specialises in mechanical handling equipment for naval vessels as well as offshore operations. Today MacTaggart Scott employs 350 people and has facilities in Scotland, Australia and the USA.
Sixty of the worlds navies and coastguards are customers of MacTaggart Scott. Key customers are the US Navy, UK Royal Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and the navies of Korea, France and Spain.
