Overview
Purpose Procurement is a Brisbane-based, Australian woman-owned consultancy dedicated to harnessing procurement as a strategic lever for delivering meaningful business, social, and economic outcomes.
We help organisations implement transparent, defensible, and governance-led procurement processes that create measurable impact across supply chains, communities, and the broader economy.
Founder & CEO Michelle Creevey brings over 19 years’ experience leading complex, high-value procurements in Defence, Aviation/Aerospace, and other complex industries, where integrity, transparency, and procurement probity are critical.
She has deep expertise in procurement governance, having led end-to-end sourcing, tender evaluation, and supplier management at Boeing Defence Australia (Boeing). Michelle was the architect and technical lead for Boeing’s Indigenous Procurement Strategy, growing domestic Indigenous supplier spend from $3.945M to over $98M in a decade. This strategy earned both domestic and global awards and was profiled in Forbes, reflecting its innovation and measurable impact within the defence aviation and aerospace sector.
Michelle’s leadership combines rigorous governance frameworks with practical, outcomes-focused procurement strategies. She ensures processes are defensible, transparent, and aligned with organisational objectives, demonstrating that procurement can be both high-integrity and high-impact.
Purpose Procurement partners with clients to embed probity and governance into every stage of procurement, from strategy and tender design to supplier engagement and contract management. We strengthen SME participation, support Indigenous and diverse suppliers, and integrate social, economic, and sustainability outcomes across supply chains. By combining strategic procurement design with governance-led frameworks, we deliver results that are not only compliant and defensible but also socially and economically impactful.
Our approach is built on three pillars, underpinned by team alignment to identify opportunities, optimise supplier engagement, and maximise value across the procurement lifecycle:
1. Strategic Procurement Leadership – Designing procurement frameworks that ensure compliance, probity, transparency, and value creation while aligning teams to organisational goals and complex sector requirements. This includes end-to-end vendor and contract management, fostering strong, relationship-based supplier partnerships that deliver sustainable outcomes.
2. Supplier Diversity and Inclusion – Enabling Indigenous, women-owned, and other diverse suppliers to participate meaningfully in high-value procurement opportunities. Through collaborative team engagement, we build sustainable relationships that unlock social and economic benefits for both suppliers and organisations.
3. Impact-Driven Outcomes – Embedding measurable social, economic, and environmental objectives into procurement processes. By aligning teams and leveraging relationship-focused supplier and contract management, we deliver lasting, tangible impact for organisations, communities, and supply chains.
Our services include procurement frameworks and operating models, vendor and contract management, and social outcomes advisory, enabling clients to achieve defensible decisions, optimise supplier participation, and deliver measurable impact across Defence, Aviation/Aerospace, and other complex industries.
Purpose Procurement’s work is results-driven, combining rigorous governance, probity, and strategic procurement expertise with measurable social and economic outcomes. We help organisations not only achieve compliance and defensible decisions but also unlock value for SMEs, Indigenous and diverse suppliers, and the communities they serve. Through every engagement, we transform procurement into a tool for impact, resilience, and sustainable growth.
We believe that procurement, guided by strong probity and governance, is a strategic, transformative tool.
