Overview

SystemiQ is a specialist human factors and safety consultancy, providing services in human-system integration, human-centred design, accessibility, ergonomics, and usability. The team helps to improve system and operational performance by understanding and optimising the integration of people and systems, to ensure that systems are safe, usable and accessible, meeting the needs of relevant users.

SystemiQ's consultants bring diverse capabilities and qualifications including human factors, organisational psychology, occupational therapy, accessibility, and safety management, along with extensive strategic and operational level experience in complex high-reliability industries.

The team has extensive specialist experience in the rail, aviation, and public transportation sectors, including in major infrastructure projects, and has supported clients within other industries such as mining, energy, banking, and electricity distribution.

SystemiQ works closely with project and engineering teams to integrate human factors/ergonomics and accessibility requirements throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. The team supports a range of activities including requirements specification, interpretation and application of standards, concept / preliminary / detailed design inputs, usability assessments and user engagements, test and verification activities, operational readiness support, and safety and risk management.
