Background

The Fishermans Bend Redevelopment Project has achieved Expediency to carry out the proposed works.

Invitation to Register

In conjunction with the Industry Capability Network (ICN), Icon is seeking interested subcontractors and suppliers who are able to offer their services for the Fishermans Bend Redevelopment project to register their interest so that they can be considered for tender for relevant works packages listed on the attached Advertisement.

Project Objectives

The objective of the Fisherman's Bend Redevelopment Project is to deliver new and upgraded high priority infrastructure to address capacity and compliance issues and support continued and future operations.

The key project elements to be delivered by the project include:

• An upgraded Entry Precinct (Stage 1) to address safety and security requirements.
• New and upgraded engineering services infrastructure (Stage 2) across the site, including:
• Electrical infrastructure,
• Potable and Fire Fighting Water infrastructure,
• Stormwater infrastructure,
• Wastewater infrastructure,
• Information and Communication Technology infrastructure, and
• Natural Gas and Compressed Air infrastructure.
• Spatial Data - Updates to the Master Site Plan
• Internal Roads and Footpath
• Trees & Landscape

Budget Range for Work Packages

• Each services work package is <$30M
• Each building (building envelope and fitout) work package is <$1M
• Each external work package is <$10M
  

Subcontractor ITR Timings:

• Invitation To Register Opens - 2nd October 2023
• Industry Briefing - 9th October 2023
• Invitation To Register Closes - 18th October 2023
  
• Construction Start - Quarter 1 2024
• Construction Finish - Quarter 4 2026
  

Industry Briefing:

An industry briefing session will be conducted on Monday 9th October 2023 at Icon Head Office (Industry Lanes, Level 7, 459 Church Street, Richmond) from 5:30pm. Please confirm attendance (company name, full name and contact number of all attendees) to events@icon.co. Attendance is not compulsory.

ITR Instructions:

To be considered for tender the following must be completed;

• Download and read through the 3 No. documents at the bottom of the page.
• Complete all questions on the ITR Questionnaire.
• Complete and sign the Confidentiality Deed - Appendix 1 of the ITR Questionnaire.
• Provide Organisation Chart requested in section 5.1 of the questionnaire,
• Provide ATO statements requested in section 6 of the questionnaire.
• Combine and pdf all the above into 1 document.
• Return competed ITR to ICN.

Separate Subcontractor Tender To Be Announced Shortly

Icon also note additional tendering for suitably qualified Subcontractors will be required for works packages separate to this ITR following the execution of the managing contractor contract in mid-November 2023. Shortlisted Subcontractors will be invited to tender by Icon for the separate works packages.

• To submit an EOI, companies must have an ICN Gateway company profile. Information on how to register your company on ICN Gateway is detailed below.
• This is an initial, generic EOI submission only. All companies who submit an EOI will be included in information presented to companies who are short listed to bid for this Project.
• The services, programmes and initiatives provided by ICN Victoria are aimed at complementing a company's existing Sales, Marketing and Business Development strategy and any EOI submitted should not be considered as an alternative to these activities.
