The Project

SNOWY 2.0 Pumped Storage Project is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia. The project involves linking two existing dams, Tantangara and Talbingo, through 27km of tunnels and building a new underground power station.
Water will be pumped to the upper dam when there is surplus renewable energy production and the demand for energy is low, and then released back to the lower dam to generate energy when electricity demand is high.

The scope of works

ATB Riva Calzoni as Subcontractor of FGJV for SNOWY 2.0 Pumped Storage Project , will be in charge of the supply, fabrication, installation and commissioning of all steel liners as per here below main description:
Penstock ID3800
Draft tube steel lining ID4700
Draft tube bifurcation
Collectors Steel lining ID 6600
Orifices (downstreem and upstream);
To comply with this scope of Work additional services will be needed such as:
Sandblasting and painting
PWHT
NDT Controls:
Transport services from the Port to site of the Items of the Scope of Supply
Transport services from laydown area in the site to the work front.
Temporary warehouse:supply and installation
Temporary Utilities internal network and connextion to the main grid: Supply and installation
Site erection equipment supply and/or renting:
