RAAF DARWIN REFRESH PROGRAM
RAAF Base Darwin is one of the Air Force's main forward operating bases.
The Mid-Term Refresh Project will provide Base Support Infrastructure improvements at RAAF Darwin to support the sustained operation of the Base. The Project will develop and deliver new main and heavy vehicle entrances along with support civil and infrastructure works. It will also replace the potable water, fire water, and sewer reticulation networks on the Base.
In December 2024, Defence awarded Laing O'Rourke as the Managing Contractor for the delivery of the project with Construction forecast to be completed by mid-2027.
