RAAF Base Darwin is one of the Air Force's main forward operating bases.
The Mid-Term Refresh Project will provide Base Support Infrastructure improvements at RAAF Darwin to support the sustained operation of the Base. The Project will develop and deliver new main and heavy vehicle entrances along with support civil and infrastructure works. It will also replace the potable water, fire water, and sewer reticulation networks on the Base.
Laing O'Rourke has been awarded as the Managing Contractor and is leading the design development during the Planning Phase. Subject to Defence, Government and Parliamentary approvals, this Program will commence the Delivery Phase in Q4 2025, with construction from 2025 to 2027.
