L3Harris IMSA supplies and maintains the Navigation Display Systems for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) fleet and is the provider of Integrated Platform Management Systems (IPMS), Communications and Navigation systems for the SEA 1180 Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs).

For the Royal Australian Navy Canberra Class Amphibious Assault Ship, also known as the Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD), L3Harris IMSA is responsible for the Integrated Communication Systems (ICS) maintenance and support, as well as the Through Life Support Facility (TLSF), ensuring the LHDs and their capabilities are seaworthy, reliable and mission ready.

For the Royal NZ Navy, L3Harris IMSA is engaged in a systems integration contract to design, build and install an upgraded communications system to help confront the evolving challenges faced by the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN). The upgrade will provide the amphibious sealift ship HMNZS Canterbury and the Offshore Patrol Vessels HMNZ Otago and Wellington with an advanced, adaptive, and cyber-resilient communication system that is seaworthy, reliable, and mission-ready.

On the Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) L3Harris IMSA has upgraded the external communications and support the RAN's weapons tracking exercises and signature management. For each of these projects, L3Harris IMSA is able to reach back to its global organisations for relevant experiences and back up support should any be needed.

L3Harris IMSA is seeking expressions of interest from Australian industry to not only support, but also be an instrumental part of its supply chain for both current and future Defence projects.

L3Harris IMSA would therefore encourage Australian suppliers interested in supplying goods and services to support the opportunities listed, to register an Expression of Interest (EOI).
