Orsted acknowledges that their project is being developed on the land of the Gunaikurnai and would like to acknowledge and pay respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
As the world's first, largest and most experienced offshore wind developer, Orsted is ready to explore renewable energy opportunities with Australia.
Orsted recognises Australia's strong offshore wind potential. Backed by supportive policies and momentum for clean energy, Orsted believes Australia has all the ingredients for a thriving offshore wind market and associated industry.
Currently, Orsted is developing proposals for a large-scale offshore wind project off the coast of Gippsland, Victoria. They plan to engage closely with existing enterprises, local communities and Traditional Owners to catalyse an Australian industry across the renewable energy sector which truly supports local jobs and supply chains.
