The Ground Lease Model - South Yarra, Prahran, Hampton East and Port Melbourne Project (the Project) will be delivered under the Big Housing Build program on Director owned sites located in:

• Horace Petty, South Yarra;
• Essex St, Prahran;
• Barak/Beacon Roads, Port Melbourne and
• Bluff Road, Hampton East.

The Project is targeting the delivery of up to 1400 new dwellings, which includes a minimum boost of 10 per cent in social housing dwellings at each of the four sites, with the rest a mix of affordable and market rental housing dwellings, including some Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) dwellings.

The new homes will be delivered under a ground lease model in partnership with community housing agencies, the private sector and the government.

Local Content (To be confirmed)

The Local Content Targets set for this Project are:

• Demolition - 97%
• Construction - 91%
• Maximise the use of local steel products made from locally milled steel
• Fixtures, Fittings and Equipment (FF&E) - 80%
• Operational Phase - 80%
• 10% of the Total Estimated Hours are to be performed by Apprentices, Trainees or Cadets.
