Overview

Tamboran Resources Corporation (Tamboran) is a publicly listed and traded natural gas company committed to supporting the successful transition into a net-zero carbon future within the Australian and Asia-Pacific region. The company focuses its operations within the development of its low-CO2, unconventional natural gas resources, particularly within the Beetaloo Basin of the Northern Territory of Australia. Tamboran aims to provide a clean, reliable energy by harnessing shale and tight gas reserves while adhering to high environmental and sustainability standards which contribute to both Australia's energy security and the global transition to cleaner energy sources.

As of 2025, Tamboran, through its wholly owned subsidiary Sweetpea Petroleum Pty Ltd (Sweetpea), hold 100% working interest and is the operator of petroleum exploration permits EP136 & EP143 within the Beetaloo Sub-basin located within the Northern Territory. Sweetpea also has EP(A)197 under application, while Tamboran Resources Pty Ltd (wholly owned by Tamboran) also holds a non-operating 25% working interest in EP161, currently operated by Santos Ltd.

In addition to this, Tamboran along with its Joint Venture partners expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Origin Energy Limited's shareholding in Origin Energy B2 Pty Ltd (now Tamboran B2 Pty Ltd) in late 2022, which holds, among other assets, a 77.5% working interest in EP76, EP98 and EP117 within the Beetaloo Basin. This acquisition further strengthens the company's position within the Beetaloo Basin, enhanced its capacity to develop low-CO2 unconventional gas resources.

Tamboran continues its exploration efforts with the aim of unlocking and commercializing the vast gas potential from its assets within the Beetaloo Basin, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in its pursuit of developing this high potential resource.
