About the project
Barossa is an offshore gas and light condensate project being progressed by the Barossa Joint Venture comprising Santos NA Barossa Pty Ltd (Santos) as Operator, Santos Offshore Pty Ltd and SK E&S Australia Pty Ltd.
As part of the Barossa Offshore Project, Santos has selected Subsea 7 to provide the Transportation and Installation of Subsea Umbilicals Risers and Flowlines (SURF).
Subsea 7's scope of work includes the following:
Procurement and subcontracting
Subsea 7 shall execute the project by sourcing the best commercial and technically delivered solution to satisfy the company's business needs without compromising safety, quality or the environment.
Subsea 7 is committed to supporting Santos' Barossa Australian Industry Participation (AIP) Plan to ensure all suppliers are given a Full, Fair, and Reasonable Opportunity to participate in the development of the Barossa Project. Throughout the project, Subsea 7 will comply with all the requirements as stated in the Barossa AIP Plan and the Australian Jobs Act 2013.
Pre-Qualification Process
All Suppliers must undergo a pre-qualification process. Depending on the nature and complexity of the supply, the pre-qualification process may involve an assessment of a Supplier's financial standing, technical capability, Quality, Health, Safety, and environmental track record.
From mid-2021 onwards, all pre-qualifications will be conducted online via SAP Ariba. Subsequent to initial screenings, potential suppliers will be invited to complete a Supplier Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
Please be advised that when submitting an EOI, all potential suppliers must provide a completed "Initial Screening Questionnaire" for EACH work package. This will assist Subsea 7 in more efficiently identifying suitable potential suppliers before proceeding with pre-qualification.
Subsea 7 Code of Conduct for Suppliers
Subsea 7 is committed to operating honestly and with integrity and to complying with all applicable laws in all jurisdictions in which it operates. Subsea 7 requires all Suppliers to do the same. Expectations are outlined in the "Our Code of Conduct for Suppliers," which can be found in the Project Documents section.
