DELIVERY SCHEDULE
The project is progressing through development, approvals, grid connection studies and detailed site investigations. Lead construction contractor procurement is being undertaken in late 2026, construction is anticipated to commence in the first quarter of 2028, and project completion is targeted for December 2030, subject to approvals, financing and final investment decisions.
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Central Queensland Power encourages suitably qualified Australian and local businesses to monitor and register interest in project supply opportunities. Anticipated requirements include civil and electrical balance of plant, solar panels, inverters, battery cells, substation equipment, high-voltage transmission, transport, construction facilities, commissioning and skilled labour. Small works procurement is expected to begin approximately six to nine months before construction.
Businesses should maintain a complete and updated Gateway by ICN profile. Register your interest in relevant full-scope work packages, and respond to all project-specific questions. Registration of interest does not guarantee progression through the procurement process; suppliers will be assessed against the capability, capacity, safety, quality and commercial requirements applying to each opportunity.

Suppliers seeking further information should contact ICN Queensland in the first instance to improve their understanding of the EOI process.
