RetireAustralia owns and operates retirement living communities across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. It is undertaking targeted market engagement to identify capable builders for reinstatement, refurbishment, building and minor works in their Villages located in Wagga Wagga, Coffs Harbour, Bundaberg and Port Lincoln.
The opportunity covers planned and reactive works in occupied retirement villages. Indicative services include vacant unit reinstatements, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, painting, flooring, joinery, building repairs, minor alterations, compliance rectification, make-safe works and coordination of specialist trades. Work will be issued under project-specific work packages. Appointments will be non-exclusive and no minimum volume of work is guaranteed.
RetireAustralia is interested in businesses that can demonstrate appropriate state and trade licences, relevant experience, regional delivery capacity, sound work health and safety and quality systems, competent project supervision, effective subcontractor management and the ability to work safely around residents, staff and visitors. Suppliers may express interest in one or more locations and should clearly identify their service coverage, mobilisation model and any use of subcontractors.
This expression of interest is an initial market assessment and is not a request for tender or an offer of work. RetireAustralia may shortlist respondents for a later competitive tender process, request further information, or decide not to proceed with a respondent. Shortlisted suppliers will receive the formal tender documents and detailed requirements through RetireAustralia's nominated tender process.
