Project Overview
The Fox: NGV Contemporary will be the largest gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design in Australia. Once completed, it will comprise of an overall area of 30,000 square metres. Of this, more than 13,000 square metres will be dedicated display space for art and design, including exhibition galleries and an expansive rooftop terrace.
The Fox: NGV Contemporary is being delivered by Development Victoria, the delivery agency on behalf of the Victorian Government, through Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation (MAP Co), in partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria and Creative Victoria. Lendlease Construction (Southern) Pty Ltd has been engaged as Managing Contractor to deliver the construction works, with the project led by Nat Gray, Project Director, and Craig Franklin, Construction Director.
All contractors will be required to comply with a range of project-specific and Principal requirements and protocols relevant to working within the Melbourne Arts Precinct, including Health and Safety, Global Minimum Requirements (GMRs) as defined by Lendlease, industrial relations obligations, site access and induction requirements, quality management, and programme/scheduling obligations. Contractors will also be required to provide appropriate security and maintain relevant insurances, in addition to supporting the project's sustainability and social procurement outcomes, environmental and reporting requirements, and standard confidentiality and defects/handover obligations. All requirements will be further detailed and subject to the specific scope of works outlined within the Tender package.

Suppliers wishing to be considered for this project should note that pre-qualification requirements including the criteria outlined above will be further detailed within the relevant Tender package for each work package. Suppliers are encouraged to register their interest via ICN Gateway to receive notification when relevant work packages become available and should direct any queries regarding pre-qualification to the project's nominated EOI contact.
