Project Background
Genus has been engaged by Zephyr Energy Pty Ltd (a partnership between Parron Developments and Atmos Renewables) to deliver the critical high-voltage grid connection infrastructure for the 470MW Parron Maam Marang Wind Farm project.
Located in Badgingarra, approximately 200km north of Perth, Western Australia, this major renewable energy development will inject substantial green power into the state's grid. Genus's scope is strictly confined to the transmission connection terminal and its linking lines, completely excluding any internal wind farm Balance of Plant (BOP) work. Upon successful completion and commissioning, these newly constructed connection assets will be integrated into and become a permanent part of Western Power's South West Interconnected Network (SWIN). All works must therefore be delivered to Western Power's strict utility network standards.
Detailed Scope of Work
This grid connection project has been broken down into several key engineering, procurement, and construction work packages. Genus invites expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified subcontractors and suppliers capable of meeting stringent safety, quality, and Western Power compliance benchmarks
