SRG Global Civil Pty Ltd is managing the San Remo Bridge Rehabilitation Project to extend the structure's operational lifespan. Working in partnership with the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), the project team targets completion by early 2028.

Scope of Works:
The project encompasses the survey, investigation, design, and execution of rehabilitation works on the San Remo Bridge. Key deliverables include:
- Structural Remediation: Repairing existing defects and upgrading structural components.
- Engineering & Load Assessment: Delivering technical advice on temporary load limits and completing a final as-constructed load rating assessment to DTP standards.
- System Upgrades: Decommissioning the existing cathodic protection systems and replacing old Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) equipment with a new system.
- Site & Traffic Management: Executing traffic control for both over-bridge and under-bridge zones, managing temporary works access, and restoring the bridge deck to equal or superior condition.
- Operations & Safety: Overseeing health, safety, environmental quality, incident response, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Supplier Evaluation and Criteria:
To be considered for evaluation, all responding applicants must satisfy the following minimum mandatory criteria:
Licensing & Accreditation:
- Hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN),
- possess a current Labour Hire License, and
- maintain a pre-assessment qualification certificate valued over $1M.
- Active registration or certification with Kinaway and Supply Nation is highly regarded.
