GEA DTIJVis delivering the Richmond Road Upgrade between the M7 Motorway and Townson Road at Marden Park on behalf of Transport for NSW (TINSW). GEA DT JV is a joint venture between Gamuda Australia and DT Infrastructure, combining experience in major road, bridge, and civil infrastructure delivery across Australia.
The project is located in Marden Park, Wester Sydney, within the rapidly growing North West Growth Area. The upgrade is part of the NSW Government's North West Growth Centre Road Network Strategy and is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments. Richmond Road is a critical arterial route that experiences heavy congestion and plays an important role in regional connectivity and flood evacuation.
The project involves upgrading approximately 2 kilometres of Richmond Road between the M7 Motorway and Townson Road. Key scope elements include road widening, intersection upgrades, improved pedestrian and cyclist facilities, and associated bridge, drainage, pavement, and utility works. The upgrade will improve traffic flow, safety, and resilience for road users and the surrounding community.
Early works commenced in December 2025, with major construction underway from January 2026. Construction is expected to continue through to late 2028 and will be delivered in stages.
Works may involve night works, weekend works, and temporary traffic arrangements to maintain access and minimise disruption via construction.
GEADTI JV is seeking to engage Australian suppliers and subcontractors, including local and regional businesses, to support delivery of the project. Procurement will occur progressively through a package-based approach aligned to the construction program.
