Elecnor Australia Pty Ltd is supporting the development and delivery of the Richmond Valley Solar Farm & BESS Project in New South Wales. The first stage of the project comprises of a utility-scale solar farm of approximately 268 MWp together with a battery energy storage system (BESS) of approximately 275 MW / 2,709 MWh.
The project is currently in pre-construction and detailed design development. The 35% design package has been reviewed and submitted, comments have been received, and the project is now moving into the 60% design phase. Site investigations and related technical studies are also progressing in parallel to support design development, execution planning and pricing refinement.
Elecnor is using Gateway by ICN to identify suitably qualified Australian suppliers and subcontractors interested in participating in the delivery of the project. The company expects to engage the market progressively across a range of EPC work packages, including civil, electrical, mechanical, temporary facilities, logistics, plant hire and specialist services.
The project is located in regional New South Wales and is expected to generate opportunities for local and regional industry participation during the delivery phase. Suppliers with relevant utility-scale energy, infrastructure or major construction experience are encouraged to register their interest.
Following registration of an Expression of Interest, suppliers may be shortlisted and contacted by Elecnor for further prequalification, tender participation or scope discussions, depending on the package and procurement stage. Suppliers may be required to demonstrate relevant experience, capacity, HSE performance, quality systems, financial capability and compliance with applicable Australian standards and project-specific requirements.
Additional work packages may be added to the listing as the project progresses.
