The Temora Hospital Redevelopment is a major infrastructure initiative located in Temora, a town within the Murrumbidgee region of New South Wales, approximately 2.5 hours from Canberra. Led by Health Infrastructure NSW, with Capital Insight acting as its representative, the project is being delivered by Richard Crookes Constructions. This redevelopment is part of a broader effort to improve regional healthcare services and is scheduled to be completed by July 2028.
Spanning a three-year program, the redevelopment involves a comprehensive eight-stage construction methodology. This includes the demolition of the existing hospital facility and the construction of a brand-new, modern healthcare building. The new hospital will be a single-storey structure, incorporating a plant void and an external loading dock to support operational efficiency.
The upgraded facility will significantly enhance healthcare delivery in the region by incorporating a wide range of essential services. Key departments within the new hospital will include Emergency, Imaging, Inpatient Unit, Maternity Ward, Ambulatory Care, Perioperative Services, and an expanded Administrative area. These additions are designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the local community and improve access to critical medical services.
The redevelopment aims to provide a more integrated and patient-focused healthcare environment, with improved infrastructure and modern amenities. The design and construction approach prioritises minimal disruption to ongoing services during the build, ensuring continuity of care for patients throughout the redevelopment period.
By investing in this project, Health Infrastructure NSW is addressing long-standing infrastructure challenges and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare in regional New South Wales. The new hospital will not only improve clinical outcomes but also create a more comfortable and efficient working environment for healthcare professionals.
Throughout the development, we wish to engage with Subcontractors for all packages listed who are willing to work with RCC on the hospital. In order to submit a confirming EOI, please fill out and return the attached form and RCC will be in touch.
Overall, the Temora Hospital Redevelopment represents a significant step forward in regional health planning, promising long-term benefits for both patients and staff. With construction progressing through its planned stages, the community can look forward to a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a cornerstone of local healthcare for years to come.
