YATHROO BESS

Neoen is developing the Yathroo BESS project in the Shire of Dandaragan,120 km north of Perth.

The Yathroo BESS project with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 400 MW/3200 MW, 6-8 hour long-duration storage facility, is co-located with Neoen's Yathroo Wind Farm but developed as a standalone asset.

By connecting to the Clean Energy Link - Northnetwork, it will supply essential peak demand capacity and deliver grid stability and reliability services, enabling the integration of larger volumes of renewable energy into the system.

The Project will provide economic benefits to the local community, including the creation of up to 80 jobs during the up to 24-month construction period.
