Overview

Neoen is developing the Yathroo Wind Farm project in the Shire of Dandaragan 120 km north of Perth. The renewable energy project comprises of up to 65 wind turbines with a maximum production capacity of up to 500 MW, a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a capacity of 400 MW/3200 MWh, and associated infrastructure.

This project will take advantage of some of the best wind resources in WA to provide affordable and clean electricity.

The project can connect to the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS) via the committed Clean Energy Link - North. It has been awarded critical project status with Western Power to enable a timely connection.

The Project will provide economic benefits to the local community, including the creation of up to 450 jobs during the up to 33-month construction period and up to 15 permanent jobs during the 30+ years operational period.
