The Wandoan South Solar 2 Project located 21 km southwest of Wandoan will be developed adjacent to Gadsbys Road, with access from the southwest junction of Jackson Wandoan Road and Gadsbys Road. The project will connect to Powerlink's Wandoan South Substation, situated immediately south of the site.
With a total installed capacity of 320.05 MWdc, the project will comprise approximately 442,800 solar panels along with 74 transformers, each rated at 4.2 MVA, strategically distributed across the northern and eastern areas of the site.
