SUBURBAN RAIL LOOP EAST, TUNNELS NORTH

Terra Verde is a global consortium building the northern tunnel section of Suburban Rail Loop East.

Terra Verde's scope of work includes the excavation of two parallel tunnels for nearly 10 kilometres between the future stations of Box Hill and Glen Waverley; the creation of 39 cross passages between them; two station boxes; two tunnel access shafts; and one intervention and ventilation shaft. The tunnels will be excavated using tunnel-boring machines (TBMs).

Comprising WeBuild S.p.A, GS Engineering and Construction Australia and Bouygues Construction Australia, Terra Verde has deep experience in Victoria and overseas, including the Metro Tunnel Project, North East Link, the Forrestfield-Airport Link in Perth and Copenhagen's Cityringen Metro.
