Health Infrastructure is redeveloping Cowra Hospital to deliver improved infrastructure to meet the needs of the community now, and into the future.
The Cowra Hospital Redevelopment will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Cowra community, delivering high-quality contemporary and accessible care close to home.
The NSW Government has committed $110.2 million to redevelop the Cowra Hospital.
Health Infrastructure is proud to announce the appointment of Richard Crookes Constructions to build the redevelopment.
The site establishment for the redevelopment for the main works construction to commence in January 2024.
The redevelopment will be built behind the existing hospital on the campus and will ensure patients, staff and the Cowra community have access to the high-quality health services they need close to home.
It includes upgraded inpatient beds, contemporary facilities and new health services including the hospital's first CT scanner, as well as:
- An emergency department
- A general medical and surgery inpatient ward
- A peri-operative theatre (a range of surgical procedures)
- A maternity unit with a dedicated nursery
- Ambulatory care services for outpatients, including Community Health and Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol services.
- Renal dialysis (dialysis treatment for outpatients)
- Oncology (chemotherapy treatments)
- Oral health (dental clinic)
As the main works construction partner on the project, Richard Crookes Constructions is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified trade and supply partners who wish to partake in the delivery of this state-of-the-art health facility. If seeking to lodge interest, please ensure all project documents are reviewed, completed in full (as required) and returned as part of any submission.
Please Note: You will need to upload the RCC Cowra ICN Subcontractors Pre-Qualification Questionnaire on the bottom of this page and then download it on the Question section of the EOI.
The purpose of this questionnaire is to allow the tendering Subcontractor to demonstrate their competency, relevant experience, and ability to undertake the proposed trade works including compliance with RCC's requirements and any relevant legislation.
Each response will be evaluated to ascertain if the Subcontractor meets the minimum requirements to be pre-qualified for tendering purposes.
Upon receipt, Richard Crookes Constructions will review submissions and revert accordingly.
