Neoen have engaged UGL for design and construction of the Collie Battery Energy Storage System (CLBESS) Stage 1, which will have a generation capacity of up to 219MW/877MWh.

The Collie Battery Energy Storage System Project (the Project) involves the implementation of a 219MW/877MWh battery energy storage system facility including all required mechanical, electrical, controls and civil/structural balance of plant (the Facility) located within the Collie region of Western Australia and Shire of Collie council local government area, south of Perth, approximately 5km east of Palmer, 15km northeast of Collie and 75km east of Bunbury on the eastern edge of Collie Basin. Major equipment will be installed by UGL to complete delivery of the overall facility.

Early works commenced on 15-May-23 and practical completion will be on 30-Nov-24.

Procurement will be done through competitive bidding between shortlisted vendors.

Suppliers can share that EOI through the ICN Gateway for the available packages.

Interested vendors will need to complete Felix onboarding for being included in the RFQ process.

Vendors are expected to contribute towards the AIP planned target achievement for the relevant packages. The template will be provided in RFQ pack.
