The Redcliffe Hospital Expansion is part of the Capacity Expansion Program, an initiative by the Queensland Government announced in the 2022/2023 State Budget to provide significant investment in capital infrastructure solutions to expand Queensland's health systems.
The project will provide Redcliffe Hospital with an additional 204 overnight beds, additional clinical services such as operating theatres, emergency department treatment spaces, endoscopy rooms, birthing suites, outpatient consult rooms, diagnostic rooms, and support services including the expansion of medical imaging, pharmacy, and pathology areas. The project will also accommodate a corresponding expansion of non-clinical support areas.
The project is anticipated to comprises a new Clinical Services Building, two critical infrastructure buildings, landscaping rejuvenation to the existing hospital campus and minor clinical refurbishment in the existing main block. There are also extensive campus infrastructure in-ground services works to facilitate the new development.
The project will provide an increase of 204 new overnight beds for Redcliffe Hospital and a significant upgrade to the existing facilities.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
Multiplex Constructions QLD Pty Ltd encourages local industry interested in supplying to the project to provide a Expression of interest (EOI) through the ICN Gateway.
Information on specific supply opportunities will be communicated on the ICN Gateway project page as it becomes available, with local industry able to register its interest against them.
Please ensure that:
- Your company profile on the ICN Gateway is complete, up-to-date and accurate including electing to be notified via e-mail of supply opportunities
- You register your interest as a full or partial scope supplier (where applicable), and
- You respond to all project and work package-specific questions.
It is important that businesses submitting an EOI are aware that their submission does not guarantee that they will progress further in the procurement process. Only companies that can demonstrate capability and capacity in accordance with Multiplex Constructions standards will be invited to pre-qualify for specific opportunities.
