Overview

Tasmanian businesses are invited to participate in networking and industry 'Insights tour' opportunities facilitated by the Tasmanian Minerals, Manufacturing and Energy Council (TMEC). Click on the 'Tradeshow' tab to see current events and to register.

"The insights tours are a great opportunity for business leaders from a diverse range of backgrounds and industries to come together. With the unique opportunity to visit and collaborate with people from a wide range of industries that you may not deal with day to day" - said Brendan Fielding, Business Development Manager from Fluid Power Services.

Please note places are limited in some of TMEC's industry opportunities.

TMEC - representing cleaner, smarter and diverse industries

TMEC is the peak body for the exploration, mining, minerals processing, and energy-intensive manufacturing industries in Tasmania. TMEC's aim is to promote development of a sustainable industry sector that operates within community expectations.

TMEC has members representing many of the state's most significant industrial businesses and associated suppliers delivering products and services.

TMEC has been a crucial partner in engaging industry, working in schools to raise the profile of manufacturing-based opportunities, and supporting skill development and training. TMEC's Manufacturing Centre for Excellence provides facilities, training spaces and equipment designed to develop workers' and students' skills in advanced manufacturing.

TMEC membership is open to individuals and organisations. Click here to apply for TMEC membership.
