Lendlease Construction (Southern) Pty Limited has been awarded the ECI Phase Contract (Early Contractor Involvement) for the above-mentioned project. We are seeking input from local and national subcontractors in relation to specific trades and services in association with the following:

  • Capability and capacity to deliver this project
  • Appetite to deliver project
  • Risks associated with the project
  • Opportunities associated with the project
  • Maximising South Australian Industry Participation outcomes on the project

We refer you to the Market Sounding Questionnaire for a series of questions that we require a response to by no later than 15th March 2023

Please note that this request for feedback is NOT a formal Expression of Interest, but will assist Lendlease and the Principal in their understanding of market risks and opportunities on this project, including initiatives to expedite the commencement of the works.

Further Information regarding formal Industry Briefings and Expression of Interest will be provided on the ICN Gateway. This process is scheduled to commence in Q1 2023.

  • Western Precinct Carpark - Lot 13 Gaol Road, Adelaide, South Australia

Description of Work

  • New Hospital - Circa 117,000m2 SoA New Build (Multi-storey)
  • Multi-Deck Carpark - Circa 42,000m2
  • Pedestrian Bridges Over Railway
  • External Landscaping, roadworks and intersection works

Overall Project Budget

  • Government has indicated a potential project cost of approximately $3.0bn to $3.2bn, subject to final resolution.

Sustainability Targets

  • 5 Star Green Star Buildings v1B rating - Including Responsible Procurement, Responsible Structures, Responsible Finishes, etc
  • WELL Platinum rating
  • The South Australian Government has Statewide goals of : Reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by more than 50% by 2030; achieving net zero emissions by 2050; and achieving 100% renewable energy generation by 2030.
  • Please note, the project will be focused on the delivery of sustainable outcomes, including but not limited to Human rights and modern slavery (including labour practices), Embodied carbon reduction, Circular economy and recycled content and Environmental Product Declarations on materials.   • Procurement Phase - Q2 '23 to Q1 '24
  • Construction Period - Q1 '24 for approximately 3.0 years

Main Works

  • Procurement commencement - Q3 '23 to Q2 '26
  • Construction Phase - Q2 '24 for approximately 5-6 years (intended construction to finish 2030 - 2031).
