Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) has been a part of Australia's defence industry for 95 years, working with the Commonwealth of Australia and the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to deliver innovative defence solutions across the air, land and sea domains.
BDA's ability to deliver agile and innovative solutions to customers relies on a strong and capable supply chain. As part of our commitment to building sovereign defence capability, BDA spends locally more than $230 million annually with around 765 Australian suppliers, many of which are small-to-medium enterprises. Our supply chain focuses on engaging with Australian suppliers, maximising Australian Industry Capability and promoting local enterprises within Boeing's global supply chain.
As part of this wider effort, BDA is seeking expressions of interest from Australian industry to support a number of future Defence capabilities in the maritime environment. Previous defence experience is not essential, but prior experience in the maritime domain will be highly regarded.
BDA encourages Australian suppliers interested in providing goods and services to support these opportunities to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) below.
BDA is currently seeking expressions of interest relevant to the following Australian Defence Force programs:
SEA1442 Phase 5 Maritime Communications Modernisation
SEA1442 Phase 5 seeks to modernise the Royal Australian Navy's maritime wide area communication capabilities. This program will ensure warfighters receive a secure communication capability capable of supporting current and future information exchange demands, while also ensuring it is interoperable between fleet units, to joint and coalition partners and to strategic headquarters.
SEA5012 Phase 1 Integrated Undersea Surveillance System Program (IUSS)
SEA5012 will seek the delivery and integration of fixed, mobile, and deployable autonomous vehicles and acoustic payloads designed to support strategic theatre undersea surveillance of Australia's maritime approaches, and to provide tactical cueing to ADF and allied anti-submarine warfare (ASW) forces.
