COURT SERVICES VICTORIA
Court Services Victoria (CSV) is delivering a new state-of-the-art court precinct for Melbourne's rapidly growing western corridor.
The future Wyndham Law Courts will bring together multiple Victorian court jurisdictions and tribunals in the largest precinct outside of metropolitan Melbourne.
The future Wyndham Law Courts will:
- improve safety and accessibility
- increase the range of justice services and programs delivered in the west
- provide specialist programs to help people address the issues that contribute to offending
- co-locate key court system agencies and services for increased service integration opportunities
- be fully digitally enabled.
The Major Projects division at CSV is responsible for the delivery of the Wyndham Law Courts Project.
CBRE have been appointed as the Project Manager to provide support during the design, procurement and construction stages of the project, Lyons Architects has been appointed as principal consultant, and Slattery as quantity surveyor.
The works will be split into two packages. An Early Works package consisting of bulk excavation and site retention Works and the Main Works to deliver the full construction of the new Law Courts.
A Main Works contractor will be appointed as the head contractor to deliver the Works and will be responsible for the engagement of all subcontractors and trades.
CSV will have oversight and input into the appointment of subcontractors and trades and interested parties should register their interest with ICN.
Located adjacent to the new Werribee Police Station, the court will be built on vacant land purchased with 2018-19 state budget funding.
The court complex is due to be complete by late 2024, with doors set to open in early 2025.
Please note: Sub-Contractors, manufacturers and/or product suppliers are encouraged to provide an EOI as below. This is NOT an EOI for the Early Works or Main Contractor packages – CSV is managing this separately.
