The Project site is within the Greater Hume Shire local government area (LGA) in the south-east Riverina region in NSW. Walla Walla is the closest town to the Project site and provides social and community infrastructure for residents within the region. Culcairn, the other main town in proximity to the Project site.
The solar farm will have a 300-megawatt (MWac) capacity of clean, renewable energy – enough to power approx. 90,000 NSW homes. The solar farm will be connected to the electricity network via the existing transmission line that runs parallel to Schneiders Road.
The scope of works consists of, but is not limited to:
· Installation of approximately 700,000 single axis tracker PV solar panels, mounted on steel frames at about 4.85 metres (m) above ground level at maximum tilt
· 96 inverter containers

· Switch room facility
· Electrical conduits and transformers
· Harmonic filter
· Underground cables
· Operation and maintenance building
· Internal roads and access points
· Parking areas
· Security fencing
