Early Parenting Centres

Project at a glance
The Victorian government has committed $148 million capital investment to the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade, with the aim to support over 5,000 extra families each year. Early Parenting Centres will provide parents the much-needed support when it comes to sleeping, feeding and extra care for babies with additional needs. Early Parenting Centres will be upgraded at Footscray and Noble Park’s Queen Elizabeth Centre, while new facilities will be built in the growing areas of Casey, Frankston, Wyndham and Whittlesea. Regional Victorian families will benefit from the first Early Parenting Centres to be built in the regions, with new centres coming to Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Shepparton.

Project Scope
This Tender pertains to two (2) New Build Early Parenting Centres expansion across metro and regional sites. Each site will be a separable portion (SP).
SP1: Ballarat in partnership with Grampians Health and Queen Elizabeth Centre and;
SP2: Casey in partnership with Monash Health and Queen Elizabeth Centre.
With all EPC New Builds, an approved standardised design has been developed by the Victorian Health Building Authority in partnership with each of the participating Health Agencies and Partnerships to promote a consistent approach to delivery across the State. Each site has unique site constraints and conditions, as well as varying individual needs. As such, some modifications in the design may be seen to allow for site variations.
