Registration of Interest (ROI) for Local Subcontractors and Suppliers
Downer has been engaged by the Commonwealth of Australia as the Early Contractor Involvement Head Contractor (“ECIHC) for Design Phase of the P0008 Airfield Works at RAAF Williamtown, with anticipation of entering Construction Phase Services in August 2021, subject to Project Approvals.
The ECIHC is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from local subcontractors and suppliers to inform market pricing for delivery of the Works between 2021 to 2024.

The P0008 - National Airfields Works at RAAF Base Williamtown (the Project) is a capital maintenance project delivered within the P0000 Program. The Head Contract has the objective of maintaining the network of aircraft pavements, stormwater drainage and Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) at RAAF Base Williamtown (WLM) to achieve a suitable condition of airfield infrastructure at WLM targeting no further capital maintenance until the next scheduled National Airfield Works project, nominally proposed for 2028.
WLM is located approximately 15 kilometres north-east, as the crow flies, of the Newcastle Central Activities District in New South Wales, Australia. WLM accommodates a number operational and support elements of the RAAF. Additionally, the base accommodates a number of Combat Support Group units, Service Provider Groups, contractor organisations, the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Warfare Centre Precinct and elements of the Air Warfare Centre.
The Project is committed to provide a positive impact to the community, with a strong focus of engaging with local businesses in the delivery of the Works.
