Project Details


BEON Energy Solutions (ES) has executed an EPC Contract for the Sebastopol Solar Farm with FRV. Sebastopol Solar Farm is located approximately 4 kilometres south east of Sebastopol and approximately 16 kilometres south of Temora in the State of New South Wales. The Sebastopol Solar farm has a nameplate rating of 90MWac and consists of approximately 224,400 PV (photovoltaic) modules mounted on piers that will be driven into the existing subgrade. In addition to this, there will be 20 power station units with 2 inverters each and 3 weather stations, with piles to be driven into existing ground.


The Key Project components include:

✓ photovoltaic solar modules (approximately 224,000 modules)

✓ single-axis tracking module framing system mounted on steel piles

✓ 20 containerized Power Conversion Units (PCUs)

✓ a substation containing transformers, associated switchgear and control and protection equipment

✓ operations and maintenance buildings with associated car parking

✓ road upgrade works on the site access route

✓ above ground and underground cabling

✓ internal all-weather access tracks

✓ security system and security fencing

✓ native vegetation plantings to provide visual screening

✓ meteorological station(s); and

✓ a 132kV transmission line


Procurement has commenced October 2020 with construction to commence in Q1 2021. Construction is expected to take 9 months.

Opportunity Description. In order to assist with the Solar Farm construction, a large labour force of personnel will be required. The Coach Services will
transport employees to and from site daily.


Coach 1 commence: 12th April 2021 for approx 18f weeks
Coach 2 commence: 26th July 2021 for approx 4 weeks


The above is an estimate only of what may be required. This
may vary in number of buses / coaches required and period of time required.

Pickup/drop off locations will also be dependant on where the majority of the workforce reside. This may be applicable to Temora and Wagga Wagga.

In order to facilitate the onsite setup of amenities, offices and
containers, Beon require the services of an external Electrician to provide and undertake the compliant tasks involved in connecting electricity to specified site buildings.
All works to be carried out as directed by Beon Nominated Representative and in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and industry standard practice.
Plumbing Services - Site Setup and Ad-hoc works during construction03 Nov 202014 Dec 2020 
 
A local Plumbing Contractor is required to assist with the site setup and ad-hoc construction needs of the Solar Farm. The contractor will provide the necessary labour, tools, equipment and materials to perform required plumbing services during mobilisation and construction as directed.
All works to be carried out as directed by Beon Nominated Representative and in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and industry standard practice.

Planting is required by an experienced landscape contractor. Plantings need to be a heterogenous mix of species that are locally available at time of planting. NB : Approximately 725 tubestock will be required and these will need to be procured early as tubestock is in short supply.

Fleet servicing (every 3 months) and all servicing requirements need to be carried out on over 20 ATV's (Polaris & Kawasaki's),

There are also occasions where immediate and non-urgent repairs will required to the ATV's.

It would be preferable if the servicing and repairs could be carried out onsite at Sebastopol Solar Farm.

Disposal of a large amount of Hard and Liquid Waste from site during construction and furthermore, the demobilisation of Sebastopol Solar Farm Site. Sebastopol Solar Farm Site require the continual emptying and then subsequent demobilisation of (but not limited to) the following:

1 x 1100 Lt REAR LIFT
1 x 23m3 SKIP (TIMBER)
3 x 23m3 SKIP (CARDBOARD)
3 x 23m3 SKIP (GENERAL)
3 x 3m3 FRONT LIFT In peak construction bins will need to be emptied on a regular basis (every 2 or 3 days)
