A further update is available on DPTI's website.
The South Australian Government will initiate an Expression of Interest for the maintenance of South Australia’s road network on 29 April 2019, the first step towards modernising the approach to maintenance of the State’s road network.
DPTI intends to establish long-term performance based contracts to ensure the Government continues to provide reliable and safe access for road users and delivers value for money for the community. The proposed approach will cover all of South Australia across four proposed contract Zones – Metropolitan, Regional South, Regional North and Outback.
Further information about the scope of works and proposed procurement process is available here.
DPTI’s proposed approach to road maintenance delivery will continue to have a strong focus on opportunities for local businesses. Successful head contractors will be required to comply with the principles of the South Australian Industry Participation Policy, including use of local service providers.
South Australian businesses interested in supplying, sub-contracting or partnering with potential head contractors are invited to register their interest below. DPTI intends to make details of all companies that register their interest available to the shortlisted tenderers for the proposed contracts at the Invitation to Supply/Request for Tender stage of the procurement process. It will then be the responsibility of the tenderers to make direct contact with the company.
Note this is not an expression of interest to contract directly to DPTI. Please visit the SA Tenders and Contracts website for further details of the Expression of Interest process for 19C029 Maintenance of the DPTI Road Network.SHOW LESS
