A new world-class integrated resort development is being constructed that will put Brisbane on the map as a tourism, leisure and entertainment destination.
Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Integrated Resort Development covers more than 26 hectares of land and water, making up nearly 10% of the Brisbane CBD. The redevelopment will see the area transformed to include:
- 50 new restaurants, bars and cafes
- Five premium hotel brands - including The Ritz Carlton Brisbane and Brisbane's first 6 star hotel
- 12 football fields of public space
- A dazzling Sky Deck positioned 100 metres above ground and designed to offer 360-degree views of the river and city
- Three residential towers offering 2,000 residences
- Repurposed heritage buildings open to the public
- A new pedestrian bridge to South Bank (the Neville Bonner Bridge)
- High-end retail department store
- World-class casino and gaming facilities to replace the existing casino
Expected to open in 2022, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will transform the Central Business District and river’s edge with an iconic design that embraces Brisbane’s inviting subtropical climate and celebrates the precinct’s Indigenous and European heritage with interpretive trails and experiences spanning the Brisbane River and ridgeline.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST OPPORTUNITIES
Information regarding upcoming supply opportunities will be communicated on our ICN Gateway project page as it becomes available. Product, service and equipment suppliers who possess the capability, capacity and track record to perform the stated scope of work and are interested in supplying to the project are encouraged to submit an expression of interest (EOI) through the ICN Gateway.
Suppliers should be aware that EOI opportunities will be made available to businesses with the capability and capacity to provide both 'full' or 'partial' scope of works i.e.
Full Scope - Able to provide ALL of the products, facilities and services required for the work package.
Partial Scope - Able to provide SOME of the products, facilities and services required for the work package.
An Electrical Services work package is communicated on ICN Gateway inviting EOIs from trade contractors and suppliers.
The scope of works includes the supply and installation of electrical services such as power, trenching, conduits, cables and cable support systems, switchboards, distribution boards and switchgear, UPS, lightning protection, lighting (including lighting control, emergency and road / pathway lighting), dry fire detection systems / EWIS, BMS systems interface, telecommunication and information technology services and MATV systems.
A business which has the capability to design, manufacture and supply conduits, cables and cable supports-only would be encouraged to register their interest as a Partial Scope supplier.
Expression of Interest communicated via the ICN Gateway are not Request for Quotation / Tender and in turn are not a commitment or representation that Multiplex will issue a Request for Quotation / Tender to procure the goods, services or equipment listed.
Multiplex may contact one (1) or more of the organisations that submit an expression of interest to discuss the requirements of the product(s) or service(s) to be provided. Responding to the EOI does not guarantee that Multiplex will contact your organisation.
Multiplex shall only invite service providers and suppliers who, through their response to the EOI, can clearly demonstrate capability and capacity against the documented scope. It is essential that your company profile on the ICN Gateway is complete, up-to-date and accurate - as any incomplete profiles will not be considered.
BUILDING CODE 2013
A key requirement of this project is compliance with the Building Code 2013. Contractors expressing interest for work packages are encouraged to provide evidence of their compliance with the Building Code 2013 within their EOI response.
For more information visit the Australian Building and Construction Commission's website - www.abcc.gov.au/building-code.
Multiplex is committed to creating sustainable employment and economic development opportunities for local suppliers by maximising their participation opportunities in our procurement activities. In the context of Multiplex’s operations, local means Australia and New Zealand.
Multiplex aims to provide ‘full, fair and reasonable opportunity’ for capable and competitive suppliers and service providers to compete for work or participate in global supply chains.
Destination Brisbane Consortium strongly encourages suppliers to contact ICN Queensland in the first instance to gain an understanding of the EOI process and development programs, such as their ICN Gateway Profile Improvement Workshops.
