Project Details

Crystalbrook Collection is a provider of unique lifestyle experiences, founded by the Ghassan Aboud (GA) Group .

Over three years (2017-2019), Crystalbrook Collection will deliver three Cairns hotels each reflecting the magnificent aspects of Tropical North Queensland - the reef, rainforest and tropical urban lifestyle.

141 Esplanade, Cairns, Queensland will be redeveloped to create a 311-room (*) hotel tower, with 12-storey tower built alongside.

The Great Barrier Reef inspired development will play host to a rooftop bar and lounge, as well as ample function and conference spaces, with the main function space accommodating up to 300 seated guests.

Construction commence mid-2017     |    Completion expected mid-2018.

A perfectly positioned greenfield block n the corner of 163 Abbott Street, Cairns, Queensland will hold two towers, the first being a 222-room (*) hotel with function rooms, restaurants and bars. The second, a 110-room apartment complex, will be expertly constructed and released for sale. The development will be a landmark complex reflecting the lush rainforests surrounding Cairns.

Development commence mid-2017     |     Completion expected mid-2019.

85 Esplanade, Cairns, Queensland is an incredible waterfront esplanade location that will hold a new hotel (constructed on the site of a pre-existing hotel and office suite). This property will reflect an inner-city urban experience, with development planned for a 300-room (*) premier hotel and a street food dining experience that will attract locals and visitors alike.

Construction commence late 2018     |     Completion expected late 2019.

The GA Group has contracted Prime Constructions, a Cairns-based development and construction group to deliver these three projects.

Information regarding upcoming supply opportunities will be communicated on the ICN Gateway project page as it becomes available. Local suppliers interested in supplying to the project are encouraged to submit an expression of interest (EOI) through the ICN Gateway.

Expressions of Interest communicated via the ICN Gateway are not Request for Quotation / Tender and in turn are not a commitment  or representation that Prime Constructions will issue a Request for Quotation / Tender to procure the goods, services or equipment listed.

Prime Constructions may contact one (1) or more of the organisations that submit an expression of interest to discuss the requirements of the good(s) or service(s) to be provided. Response to the EOI does not guarantee that Prime Constructions will contact your organisation.

Prime Constructions shall only invite suppliers who, through their response to the EOI, can clearly demonstrate capability and capacity against the documented scope. It is essential that your company profile on the ICN Gateway is complete, up-to-date and accurate - as any incomplete profiles will not be considered.

Prime Constructions is committed to creating sustainable employment and economic development opportunities for local industry by including their participation in procurement activities.

Prime Constructions aims to provide full, fair and reasonable opportunity for capable and competitive suppliers (products, services and equipment)  to compete for work or participate in global supply chains.

Prime Constructions strongly encourage local industry to contact the ICN Queensland in the first instance to improve their understanding of the EOI process and capability development programs to improve their chances of gaining access to major project work.

(*) Final room details / numbers may change pending approvals and detailed design.
