Company Overview

The Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) is the leading organization representing independent not-for-profit Group Training Organisations (GTOs) that directly employ apprentices and trainees and place them with host businesses. With 25 member organizations and 5 associate members across Victoria, all adhering to National Group Training Standards, the AEN ensures the provision of high-quality, accountable services to the industry. Our members collectively employ over 6,000 apprentices and trainees annually. The AEN also supports employers in meeting Local Jobs (LJF) and Social Procurement (SPF) contractual obligations while facilitating meaningful employment connections. Our Pathways and Programs are dedicated to supporting various groups, including First Nations people, women in construction, culturally diverse (CALD) individuals, the long-term unemployed, Big Build Apprenticeships, retrenched apprentices, workplace literacy, numeracy, health and safety, industrial relations, human resources, and workforce planning and development.
